From the first consultation to the final walkthrough, we manage every phase of your rebuild — design, permits, construction, and energy systems — so you never have to coordinate between contractors, chase approvals, or wonder what comes next.
1.Initial Consultation & Needs Assessment
We begin by meeting with the client to understand the project vision, goals, budget, and timeline. During this stage, we review any existing plans, discuss site conditions, and identify project priorities.
2. Site Visit & Preliminary Evaluation
Our team conducts an on-site assessment to evaluate existing conditions, measure key areas, and identify potential challenges or opportunities that may influence the scope of work or design. Based on the initial consultation and site evaluation, we prepare preliminary concepts, rough layouts, or feasibility options. We align these concepts with the client’s budget to ensure financial transparency from the start.
3. Detailed Proposal, Contract Execution & Project Planning
After developing a comprehensive proposal that outlines the full scope of work, material specifications, construction methods, transparent pricing, and project timelines, we finalize the contract and transition into detailed project planning, including scheduling, material procurement, safety preparation, subcontractor coordination, and managing permits or regulatory requirements. Upon completion of contract execution, will will release a Commencement of Construction Schedule, which not only provides clients with a detailed break-down, which not only provides clients with a detailed breakdown of key construction milestones and timelines, but also outlines all preparatory actions required before work begins
4. Specifications
It's the details that separate extraordinary new home construction & remodeling from ordinary. Your project coordinator will create a comprehensive, all-inclusive specifications book cataloging every component of the project—plumbing fixtures, cabinets, appliances, finish carpentry, window materials, roofing, solar inverters, paint colors and more.
5. Project Management
One of the many advantages of working with a general contractor that has a large full-time staff is that it’s not just “one person trying to do everything.” Once things are underway our Operations Manager will use specialized software to track all aspects of scheduling, giving you the ability to see exactly where things stand. Your Controller will track all expenses and provide detailed monthly billings, using our Schedule of Values system. And our Office Administrator will stay on top of insurance and lien release challenges.
6. Home Construction
Artisan Build Group is a “white glove” home builder. We handle all aspects of construction, from serving as the point of contact for all subcontractors, consultants, vendors and city inspectors to resolving issues as they arise. Construction will be overseen by your Project Manager, who will be on site daily ensuring all work is done to specifications, using the highest quality building materials and techniques.
7. Project Completion
Our in-depth project close-out process includes a full inspection by our CEO Michael Soroka, along with your project manager, customer service manager and custom care manager for a detailed walk-through to compile a final “punch list.” Upon move-in you will receive a Comprehensive Close-Out Package with copies of all contracts, invoices, releases, city documents, manuals and warranties, as well as photographic documentation of your project.
8. On-Going Care
Your relationship with Artisan Build Group does not stop on your move-in day. You’ll enjoy a full-coverage warranty during the first year after your home’s completion and a two-year electrical and mechanical warranty followed by a ten-year structural warranty for years two through ten—plus the option to participate in our turnkey Artisan Home Care Program that takes home maintenance out of your hands and makes it worry-free.
